Job scam safety

Protect yourself from aviation recruitment scams.

Legitimate aviation employers do not ask candidates to pay for a job. Learn the warning signs before sharing money or private documents.

Common warning signs

  • Payment requests for visas, uniforms or administration before hiring.
  • An offer with no interview or an unusually fast decision.
  • A recruiter using a free email address instead of the company domain.
  • Pressure to respond immediately or lose the opportunity.
  • Early requests for bank details, passport copies or original documents.

Verify the employer

Use the company website independently and compare the role with its official careers page.

Protect personal information

Keep licence numbers private and do not send originals or banking information early in recruitment.
